Mobile Grid and Cloud Computing Lab conducts research in the areas of mobile distributed computing systems and the internet of things. The primary objective of the research is to develop the next generation of mobile and distributed computing systems that enable the efficient execution of emerging resource-intensive and real-time internet of things and B5G network applications.

Some representative examples of the topics we are actively exploring include the followings:

Mobile cloud and edge computing
Computation offloading . power management . network performance . mobile cloud applications

Mobile ad hoc cloud computing
Resource management . power management . process migration . failure management . mobility management

Mobile ad hoc networks
Routing protocols . multi-hop communication in multi-layer network environments

Internet of Things
Object representation, monitoring and discovery mechanisms, network management protocols
