Muhammad Bilal is an associate professor of computer science with the Department of Computer and Electronic Systems Engineering at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Korea. He received the Ph.D. degree in information and communication network engineering from Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute and Korea University of Science and Technology and the M.S. in computer engineering from Chosun University Korea. Prior to joining Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Smart Quantum Communication Center at Korea University.
Bilal is an Editor of IEEE Future Direction Newsletter and has served as a reviewer of several international journals including IEEE Communication Magazine, IEEE Systems Journal, IEEE Access, IEEE Communications Letters, and IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management. He has also served on program committees of various international conferences. His primary research interests lie in the fields of network architecture and protocols, network Security, Blockchain technologies, internet of things, and future internet.
